Staying strong and keeping its position secure in the top ten is the Honda Civic. Automotive sales grew six percent in 2014 with a grand total of about 16.5 million cars sold. This was a huge year with record sales and all of the vehicles competed to secure a spot in the Top Ten Best Selling Cars of 2014. Over half of the top ten were non-sedan vehicles due to a huge growth in sales with SUV/Truck’s towards the end of the year. But the consumers spoke by choosing this popular sedan more then others showing that Honda’s reputation stays strong.

It has earned IIHS’s Top Safety Pick Plus Awards, ALG Residual Value Award, Motor Trend Sport Utility of the Year, and ended the year with being one of the Top Ten Best Seller’s of 2014 keeping its status secure. We were not surprised to hear that the Honda Accord claimed one of the spots for the Top Ten Best Sellers of 2014 once again. 2014 was the auto industry’s best year for sales reaching a total of around 16.5 million cars sold. And even though SUV sales rose tremendously later in the year the consumers still chose to shop this popular sedan.
