New trim levels, improved fuel economy and better safety technology was introduced today for the new 2016 Honda Pilot.
For the first time, we’ve seen more than just the outside of this all-new SUV that debuted in the Chicago Auto Show last month. First off, the Pilot adds a new Touring Elite top of the line. All-in-all there are five available trim levels, and the Touring Elite is the most luxurious of them all. Touring Elite gives you all the great features of the modern vehicle, including:

The new 2016 Honda Pilot will hit the dealership in summer 2015. If the first reviews are any indication, you’re really going to like this new family-friendly SUV.
Brand New Look
The third-generation Honda Pilot looks nothing like the previous model. Instead of the boxy look of the current models, the new Pilot has a modern, sleek look with a smaller, thin front grill, wide headlines and creases leading down the sides. The Pilot has new thin rear headlights and overall it looks much more like a modern vehicle. Think about an extended CR-V when you think about the new Pilot.
The popular 2015 Honda Pilot has a great reputation for families and those who need plenty of space. This larger SUV rides like a much smaller car, but provides you with seating for up to 8 people. Add in the great technology that comes standard, and you cannot go wrong with the Pilot.
Cars.com calls the Pilot is “car seat all-star,” with a perfect 10 out of 10 score. They described the Pilot “cavernous interior,” and say the Pilot will make parents with small children very happy. It gets high marks for easy Latch access and extra Latch and tether anchors.
Thanks to innovative features like their rearview camera, the Honda lineup has been recognized by the NHTSA for advanced safety.
The rearview cameras standard on many Honda models have been recognized for safety technology from the National Traffic Highway Safety Administration. The manufacturer was the first to be recognized by the U.S. Department of Transportation for having met its Advanced Technology Feature performance criteria.

Thanks to vehicles like the 2013 Honda Civic, Honda was one of the top brands in the 2013 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study.
Honda was one of the top non-luxury brands in J.D. Power and Associate’s 2013 Initial Quality Study.
The study is based on customer responses after 90 days of ownership. When you remove the luxury brands, Honda was among the top 5 vehicles in Initial Quality, their score of 103 is much higher than the industry average.
Honda is traditionally a top non-luxury brand and they are always above the industry average. J.D. Power says their Initial Quality Study has always been in great indicator of long-term durability among models.
The sales staff at Waikem Honda has again been named the top Honda sales staff in Northeast Ohio
The sales team at Waikem Honda has again been named the top Honda sales team in Northeast Ohio.
Waikem Honda again has the Northeast Ohio Honda championship belt on display in our Massillon showroom. The award goes to the dealership with the highest sales percentage for the month. Waikem Honda had one of its best months ever in March 2013, and the team got to pose with the title once again.
“If you want a compact car with a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating, the 2013 Honda Civic is the only choice,” said Art St. Cyr, vice president of product planning and logistics at American Honda. “We believe this is a distinct competitive advantage, especially as more and more consumers place a premium on crash rating performance.”
Top Safety Pick Plus is the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s newest top ranking, which separates out the best of best for safety. IIHS scores the 2013 Honda Civic Good in the moderate overlap front test results, Good for the small overlap front test, good for side impact test results, and good for roof strength test. To achieve Top Safety Pick Plus status, a vehicle must receive a score of good in at lease 4 of 5 tests and no less than acceptable in the fifth test. Less than 20 vehicles across the United State have been designated as a Top Safety Pick Plus.
