They analyzed insurance rates for Personal Injury protection and medical payment coverage that pays for injuries to your passengers in a crash. Insure.com used insurance rates of more than 750 vehicles for its study. Identifying the vehicles with highest and lowest cost for PIP and MedPay coverage, three Toyota models are among the worst vehicles for preventing passenger injury according to Insure.com.
The Toyota Yaris was voted the worst vehicle for protecting passengers from injury, in this Insure.com study. The Toyota Corolla was third, and the Camry was also in the Top Ten.
