Waikem Honda is one of many Northern Ohio Honda Dealers participating again in Fox 8’s Operation Giving Tree. Because of the support this program received this year, Fox 8 has extended the giving deadline.
Gifts poured in outside the Fox 8 studios on Nov. 27, making the 8th Annual Operation Giving Tree a huge success. The Northern Ohio Honda Dealers want to make sure that success keeps going by extending the program through Dec. 13 with collection centers at our Massillon showroom.
Waikem employees were able to raise more than $1,000 for Adam Longwell, an employee in the Motors Parts Deparment. His two year old daughter Kendall has Cystic Fibrosis.
A group lunch Thursday was more than just a lunch, as the employees of Waikem gathered to raise money and help up a fellow co-worker in need.
The luncheon was for Adam Longwell, an employee in the Waikem Motors parts department. Everyone donated money to the “Blow Away Cystic Fibrosis” campaign. Adam’s 2-year-old daughter Kendall has Cystic Fibrosis, and the money will go towards the Great Strides run Saturday, May 5 at McKinley High School.
