A number of Honda models were honored by Consumer Reports for their ability to last forever. The Honda Civic, Pilot, Odyssey, Accord and CR-V were in the top of the list of “Best cars for making it to 200,000 miles.” So if you’re looking for a long-term investment in your next vehicle, look no further than Honda.
Consumer Reports looks at real-world reports and survey data from readers and mechanics to create this list. Each vehicle also had to be Consumer Reports recommended to qualify. We here at Waikem Honda are not surprised that all of Honda’s top models we made the top ten.

Value is measured by a combination of a vehicle’s five-year total cost of ownership and the average price paid for the vehicle at the time the awards are published.
Forbes has recently looked into the top vehicles that are most likely to reach 250,000 miles on the odometer.
After checking used car classifieds they found a 1993 Honda Civic with 355,720 miles, a Ford F-150 with 290,000 miles, and a Nissan 300ZX with 330,000 miles. This gave them an understanding of how long cars are lasting these days.

According to their study, used cars in Cleveland, Ohio, cost on average nearly 6 percent less than the national average. Used cars in Akron, Ohio, cost 4 percent less than the national average. Many other Great Lakes Cities, such as Buffalo, NY, Detroit, MI and Toledo, Ohio, also made the list of least expensive cities to buy a new car.
