The Honda Civic, Pilot, Odyssey, Accord and CR-V were in the top of the list of “Best cars for making it to 200,000 miles.” So if you’re looking for a long-term investment in your next vehicle, look no further than Honda.
Consumer Reports looks at real-world reports and survey data from readers and mechanics to create this list. Each vehicle also had to be Consumer Reports recommended to qualify. We here at Waikem Honda are not surprised that all of Honda’s top models we made the top ten.
The 2015 Honda CR-V was named best Family SUV by U.S. News and World Reports. Redesigned for the new year, the CR-V makes the list thanks to innovative technologies and improved safety.
The SUV’s 8.6 out of 10 score makes it the highest-rating SUV in its class. It also comes in No. 1 for the most affordable compact SUV on the market today. It earns the marks as best family SUV for roominess. U.S. News and World Reports talks about the back seat in particular, mentioning it might be the most comfortable back seat in its class. The 70.9 cubic feet of cargo space is more than you will get in most of the competition.
The standard features also blew away the judges. All CR-V models come standard with Bluetooth, backup camera, USB capabilities, Pandora radio and so much more.
The CR-V is also one of the perfect blends of technology and safety thanks to a number of new Honda Sensing safety features include forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane watch and lane keeping, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.
The CR-V also added more airbags to the 2015 CR-V, and it even earned an IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus Award for 2015.
Earlier this month, the CR-V also earned the best Family Car Award from Kelley Blue Book.

Among all cars in the “family cars” category, the Honda Accord was the top choice. It beat out comparable models including the Toyota Camry, Mazda 6 and Chevy Malibu. Consumer Reports calls the Accord “roomy, nice to drive, well equipped and very fuel efficient.”
