The 2015 Honda CR-V has earned the Top Safety Pick Plus Award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. With a perfect score on the toughest tests, the new SUV remains the leader for safety.

To earn Top Safety Pick Plus Award status, a vehicle must earn the top score in the five IIHS crash tests, along with earning a high score with advanced safety features.

You can’t tell the story of Honda’s history in North America without Ohio, so Thursday the brand cut the ribbon on a brand new museum right here in the Buckeye State.

The new $35 million, 160,000 square foot facility opened in Marysville, Ohio at the site of Honda’s new Technical Development Center that will be bring even more jobs to the Buckeye State. Honda’s relationship with Ohio goes all the way back to 1982, when the first Honda Accord made in America rolled of the floor in Marysville, Ohio. Since that day, more than 1 million Hondas have been made right here in Ohio, leading to thousands of jobs and an untold amount of success stories for Ohio families.

The minivans that are competition to the 2015 Honda Odyssey have struggled in the IIHS Crash Tests. Meanwhile, the Odyssey was voted Top Safety Pick Plus.

IIHS announced Thursday that the Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Nisan Quest all received the lowest score of poor in the IIHS small overlap crash test. The Odyssey, though, received the top score of good in the small overlap front crash test.
