Consumer Reports voted the Honda Accord as the best car for moms. The advocate magazine chooses the Accord for value, quality, safety and purchase price. The vehicles also must already be Consumer Reports recommended.
Among all cars in the “family cars” category, the Honda Accord was the top choice. It beat out comparable models including the Toyota Camry, Mazda 6 and Chevy Malibu. Consumer Reports calls the Accord “roomy, nice to drive, well equipped and very fuel efficient.”
Among all the cars in the “family car” classification, the Accord was the second lowest in purchase price, had the second best MPG at 30 overall. The Accord had the lowest five year cost to own total as well.
The Accord also gets high grades from Consumer Reports for comfortable seats and great visibility.
Safety is a big plus, the Accord Sedan was an IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus. All models also come standard with a rear view camera.
