Honda’s top three models were among the top ten best-selling vehicles in the United States in 2013.
No other manufacturer had as many in the top-ten, and after a year of updates and new features, it appears Honda has moved backed to the top of Automotive Industry. The Honda Civic, Honda Accord and Honda CR-V all saw some of their best sales records of all-time.
The Honda CR-V was the 8th best selling vehicle in the United States and top selling CUV total. The CR-V surpassed the 300,000 sales total for the first time ever, including its best December sales total ever.
The CR-V topped KBB’s Resale Value for 2014, and with fuel economy that reaches up to 31 MPG, you really cannot go wrong. Other standard features include Bluetooth, backup camera and Pandora.
The Honda Accord was the fourth best selling vehicle and the second highest selling sedan in 2013. Sales were up 10% total over 2012 figures, and it was the Accord’s best year since 2008. Redesigned in 2013, the Accord has a huge set of standard features including backup camera, Bluetooth, SMS Text Message features duel climate control and Pandora Radio.

The redesigned Honda Civic was America’s sixth-best selling vehicle and the best selling vehicle in its class. After critics panned the 2012 version, Honda stepped up big time with the 2013 model. All Civic models come with a backup camera, Bluetooth, and Pandora. The new Civic also features new gorgeous wheels and front and rear styling.
The all-new Civic was also voted an IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus.
Although not in the top-ten, the Honda Odyssey was the top selling van of 2013.
“Breaking our December sales record is a great way to finish a near-record year, but perhaps more significantly, the CR-V joins Accord and Civic as the third Honda vehicle to sell more than 300,000 units per year for the first time in our history,” said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales at American Honda. “In a hotly competitive market, where every manufacturer brought their best products, our core models demonstrated significant growth without having to resort to fleet sales to drive volume as some of our competitors do.”
