Honda announced a contract extension with SiriusXM this week, meaning more vehicles like the 2014 Honda Odyssey will be equipped with satellite radio.
American Honda Motor Company announced it has expanded its relationship with SiriusXm Satellite Radio through 2020. This means more Honda models will have satellite radio along with all the other great music options you already get in your Honda vehicle.
During this announcement, Honda said the Accord, Civic, CR-V and Pilot will continue to have available SiriusXM radio. For the first time ever, the Fit, CR-Z and Insight will come with available SiriusXM Radio. It will also be offered in the Acura ILX for the first time ever.
The Honda Crosstour is on MSN’s list of best cars in bad weather. Specifically, Honda likes the EX-L 4WD option powered by a V6 engine. MSN was looking for cars that handle well in snow — trucks and vans were not eligible to qualify for this list.
EX-L was considered because it is the only Crosstour model that offers Honda’s Real Time 4WD. Honda’s Real Time 4WD engages when the system detects you slipping. It transfers power to where you get tire grip. The hydraulically actuated system operates only when front wheel slippage occurs, helping you through terrain that can be tricky to maneuver.
